2010 Images

In May 2010 we organized lectures in the Cultural Centre of Thessaloniki (a Municipal Gallery) and we sketched together. We also organized sketching peformances.

2011 Images

In 2011 we organized workshops, where painters - SKETBE members talked about drawing and sketching they all worked together.

We all have something to learn...

We had our lectures, where established artists, professors of Art in Greek Universities and  art  historians gave their points of vue concerning sketching.

We also sketched en plein air in Thessaloniki,together with the public (although the weather was not that friendly, so we soon moved inside a municipal hall). We also organized performances for all those who participated.

Ημέρα Σκίτσου 2012

Ο Σύλλογος Καλλιτεχνών Εικαστικών Τεχνών Βορείου Ελλάδος (ΣΚΕΤΒΕ) διοργανώνει από το 2009 κάθε τελευταία Κυριακή του Μαΐου την Ημέρα Σκίτσου.
Το 2009 η Ημέρα Σκίτσου πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Λευκό Πύργο στη Θεσσαλονίκη, με πλήθος συμμετεχόντων.
Το 2010 πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο του Δήμου Θεσσαλονίκης. Την ίδια μέρα διοργανώθηκε Ημερίδα για το Σκίτσο, με εισηγήσεις και συζητήσεις.
Το 2011 πραγματοποιήθηκε στη Νέα Παραλία Θεσσαλονίκης (στον Κήπο του Νερού). Επίσης διοργανώθηκε από τον ΣΚΕΤΒΕ Ημερίδα για τη διαθεματικότητα του σκίτσου, με εισηγήσεις και εργαστήρια.
Φέτος, το 2012, θα θέλαμε να ... ανοίξουμε την Ημέρα Σκίτσου πέρα από τα όρια της Θεσσαλονίκης. Θα θέλαμε να γίνει μια γιορτή σκίτσου, χωρίς σύνορα.
Καλούμε όλον τον κόσμο να βγει στις 27 Μαΐου (τελευταία Κυριακή του Μαΐου) και να σκιτσάρει. Θα είμαστε (νοητά) όλοι μαζί. Και σας καλούμε να στείλετε ηλεκτρονικά τα σκίτσα σας στο sketbe2@gmail.com. Τα σκίτσα σας θα αναρτηθούν στο blog του ΣΚΕΤΒΕ για την Ημέρα Σκίτσου...

Let's sketch together! Let's have fun!!

SKETBE is a Society of Artists (Visual Arts) based in Thessaloniki and Northern Greece.
For the past three years, we have set the last Sunday of May as "Sketching Day".
In 2009, artists and friends of the Arts gathered near White Tower, Thessaloniki and sketched all day. A great event!
In 2010, we organized lectures and talks and then sketched together in the Cultural Centre of Thessaloniki.
In 2011 we sketched in the "Water Park" in Thessaloniki. We also organized lectures on the various purposes and uses of sketching.
Now, in 2012, we plan to have a sketching day without boundaries. We would love to sketch together with artists from all over the world.
Mark your calendars. Last Sunday of May. May 27th.  Let's go and sketch outside, en plein air. Send us an email with a photo of your sketch, along with your name and details about your sketch. Your sketch will be posted in this blog.
So... don't forget.
Sunday, May 27th. Sketch something, take a photo of your sketch (or scan it) and email it to us (sketbe2@gmail.com). Leave the rest to SKETBE...
